Due to too many scam calls I have disconnected my landline, I periodicly check for missed calls on 1471. 01273655110 is a caller who did not leave a message, probably another scammer.

Just called my mobile. I didn t answer but checked the number online 01225 282329 to see who they were. Found this website and comments. Called them from a landline, immediately explained to person who answered that I d received a missed call, that I d checked them up online and didn t want any further calls, and to remove my mobile number from their calling list. SCAM, called from a different number first saying he is calling from curry’s pc world and offering mobile phone upgrade at very cheap price. I suspected fraud, so asked for the company details so I can check and call back . Was given this number. When I called ,instead of going through switch board options, someone answered straight away saying “ curry’s mobile phone company, how can I help?” I knew straight away it was a scam, a few fraudsters working together pretending to be a company.

I bought a car from Bayliss Motors of Cheltenham and this was just a courtesy call. I didn't recognise the number so I checked it out before calling back. No problem.

I was a little bored so gave them a fictitious name, a real address, loads of BS about Credit Cards I got; even telling him I d had refunds and my 8% interest too, but he insisted I was still entitled to more. Told me it was no win, no fee but if they did get anything then they got 30% plus VAT; that s 1/3 of the claim. So he took all my details and then passed me through to a colleague who then went through all the same questions again to confirm the details and that I was to sign the forms

We had one of these calls. Found their number - 0161 488 3888. Gave them a call and gave them a piece of my mind! Told them to remove my number immediately which they said they would. We will see!
