Just had similar call. Told Indian man it was a scam and hung up
Called asking for bank details and address claiming I have won a sweepstakes lottery. When questioned they got sheepish and provided cold replies. Pretended to know who I was and where I lived AFTER I provided address.
Number has called me several times too, on answering it immediately goes dead on ringing back it is blank and then goes dead.

Has called several times but I have a speaking phone which tells me the name if it s someone I know, and if unknown, it tells me the location or number of the caller. I did not recognise the number so each time, I ignored it.

They said they were calling regarding a personal matter on behalf on a mutual client but could not tell me any more information until I confirmed by details. I was called today at 2.46pm by this number. This caller claims to be calling from BT Openreach stating that someone tried has changed the IP address of my computer. The caller is highly argumentative and continued to try and push a false narrative, even though I made them aware I knew it was a scam. I hung up, blocked the number and reported it to BT. Please note BT OPENREACH DOES NOT CALL CUSTOMERS.
