Amazon scammer. Told me someone hacked my Amazon account and ordered a £754 iPhone. Sent me a code in a text and asked for this code. No order showed on my Amazon account nor got a confirmation email. He got impatient with me when I said that I don't trust him and asked how I can know if he's not trying to scam me. He hung up.

Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Recorded message. Said they were bank security and that a number of large transactions had been made on my account. I hung up.

Pressed 2 to 'speak' to the bank (to give them a taste of their own medicine)., and just a random guy picks up the phone - think i got him out of his bed??? Strange! SCAM !! Pretended they were from my mothers bank after sending her a text pretending it was from her daughter who needed money. Scammed her out of £2800. Voice on phone was English. Reported to Barclays fraud. Phone calls from this number were persistent insisting money hadn’t gone through and no doubt trying to extort more money.
