SCAM This call is related to energy and initially sounds like a live person but if you don't respond it becomes clear it is pre recorded. Be very careful about responding with "Yes" or "No" answers as your voice response can sometimes be used for other potentially fraudulent purposes

SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!
Fraud SCAM Fake text from Evri about a missed parcel and a link to get it re-delivered. Knew straight away this was fake as i have stuff delivered by them quite a lot. The tracking number in the text was too short (P91MV8M), Evri tracking numbers are 16 digits long.
Pretending to be Just Glass - no idea who Just Glass are but i never enquired and my number is on TPS; they hung up when I told them this. upon calling Just Glass directly through their number on the site it turns out it was not them. deffo a scam
Missed a call at 4am from this number, no message left so no idea who it is
Insurance, I have current vitality life insurance, thay saying they are from vitality but were asking how much I am paying for insurance.... Thay wanted to get better deal to save money or increase cover amount. Something not right. Hang up on them

SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Male non english accent called my landline from 07342065763 17 Jan 2023. Stated he was from Amazon security and that he had emailed me as someone had ordered a £600 phone on my account. I asked whose name was on the account as he said it was my name. I asked again whose name and he said D Maddison. When I say they don't live here he hung up. Obviously has some old phone records.

He called me on 26/02/2023 from 17.00 on wards every 20 minutes or so till 20.00 hours i disconnected the. then around 15.00 hours he started calling again silent all the time this went on for 10 calls the i did not pick so blocked my land line by leaving phone off hook. Leaving un able to make receive calls.

SCAM ...said he was from O2 wanting me to upgrade phone and contract. Put me on to female supervisor when I said no! Said she would text me a code to prove who she was... I just watched the scam baiters on YouTube and this is just what the scammers do. Do not fall for it. Contact the company yourself if you want to upgrade!
It rang me multiple times within minutes but then just hangs up. when you call the number back the IVR crackles and it only gives you 2 options to speak to someone of to press 9 to remove your number from their call lists. I choose the 2nd option and then minutes later they rang me again.
