The above person txt me from ?+44 141 280 7229? and ?+44 114 359 9246? saying they wanted to buy the pram and for me to email them on [email?protected] I did then they said they had cancer and that would be sending an agent for the pram once they had paid me via PayPal. I got suspicious and then found out this is a scam

SCAM Threatens you that you are gonna be prosecuted for tax fraud. Obviously untrue considering the fact that it is almost impossible to talk to someone at HM Revenues &Customs who has some responsability and knows about taxes and rules, so why should they send you someone to prosecute you for sonething they don't even understand themselves.

I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. This is an automated call claiming to be from Her Majesty’s Government claiming that a tax fraud exists in the recipient’s name.
Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
