This company phones EVERY DAY !!! A foreign woman knows my name and says it s a quick call from the call centre. I asked the name of the company but she said it was a short survey about home phone/broadband suppliers. I told her I was registered with TPS but she ignored me and kept talking so I hung up. I ve only answered once before and got the same story but as people are reporting this number differently I decided to answer just now to see what happened. Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.

When I called back, I got a recorded message: "You were called by Solar Panel Funding. If you do not wish to be called again, please press 1 or hold and we will connect you to the next available agent. " When I stayed on the line, the call was answered by a human "Hello. You're through to Eco-Telecoms. How can I help you."
