Several times a day. Answered once and could hear noises in background but no-one spoke: now don t answer but check number afterwards. Harassing to say the least.

rude invasion of privacy. Worse than spam email because I have to answer a call from a UK dialling code, but I don t know its a scam until I have done so. Should be illegal.

Number logged as international yet again is in a UK format. Likely to be a spoof number.

Rings me repeatedly, automated message asking to dial 1. I hang up every time.

Sarah called via robotic message saying from HMRC asking to call to pay debt, if I didn t call or my lawyer then there would be severe consequences I was to call that number 01273252080 .

HYC Manchester. I was a little bored so gave them a fictitious name, a real address, loads of BS about Credit Cards I got; even telling him I d had refunds and my 8% interest too, but he insisted I was still entitled to more. Told me it was no win, no fee but if they did get anything then they got 30% plus VAT; that s 1/3 of the claim. So he took all my details and then passed me through to a colleague who then went through all the same questions again to confirm the details and that I was to sign the forms

Car accident insurance scam. Very persistent. Told to get lost and not call again. Took exception to this and Kept ringing back until I disconnected the phone.

PPI Scammers, do not respond to their text. You do not need to text STOP as you haven t opted in to anything. Texting STOP just helps the criminals by verifying that your number is in use.

These numbers +44 8453304800, +44 1132735400 and +44 1132732500 have been calling and pestering me for months now, but I never answered the first time they called me as they made out they were student finance and a part of me believed them as the person whom I spoke to had a Scottish accent, but as soon as they asked me to pay £700 over the phone and of course not online this way there is less evidence that I have paid them and of course I said I didn t have that kind of money can I give it to you tomorrow

I must have had ten calls this last week from a company calling themselves UK Preference. Today s number used was 01612228888. The voice was an Indian male and was very persistent talking over me when I told him to take me off their calling list and to stop calling me. The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.
