SCAM This is a scam call claiming to be from Microsoft and telling me that my computer is highly compromised and they need to secure it. Yet they called my nans old landline which I wanted to keep when they house was sold following my uncles death so I had it redirected to my phone. I know this is a scam as they used my uncles name and he had been dead since 2020 so there is no way his computer was sending them any reports
just received a call from 08000232588 caller identified himself as an agent for SKY, knew my current account type and monthly bill, also expiry date for my package tried to offer me a better deal to continue for another twelve mnths when my current package expires, I asked him to call back at amore convenient time. Fraud Called at 13:05 19.03.2021 stating that they were ringing from Thames Water as there is a suspected leak from the property. Wanted me to confirm the first line of my address and postcode. I said I could not talk as I was at work and that I would call back.

Called but left no message. The telephone number relates to the JCUH at Middlesbrough and I believe the call is to remind patients of an appointment at the hospital. When I phoned it back I was told to ring 01642 850850.
