Fake call about a non existing internet connection problem. Claims to be from BT Open Reach and wants access to your computer.
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. Rather worryingly I have just noticed that my phone has rang this number twice this afternoon. Both times for 41 seconds. I ve never rung the number before and it seemed to have happened when I was taking another call from a colleague. I will have to keep an eye on the phone bill!

An extremely rude man (possibly antipodean accent) identified himself as being from the "Credit Protection Association", asking for our MD. My request for the reason for his call was met with abuse, so I ceased conversing with him. When I phoned back the number to make a complaint, I was met with a recorded message telling me I had received a marking call from the Credit Protection Association before it disconnected my call.
