Call was from someone claiming to be from "the consumer unit" when I told him I wasn t interested and to remove my​ number from the database, he hung up on me.. How rude!!!

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. Have been called twice this afternoon by this number and on both occasions the caller has hung up as soon as my answering machine intercepted the call.

This number has called me at least once,but as many as four times, each day this week. I only answered the first two as it was a survey or the automated Goodbye .

I got text off this number telling me to update my records as my payment for my 3 contract couldn t be processed, total scam

Yet another one of the hundreds of numbers these lowlifes have to call you multiple times, every single day. Another one added to the block list.

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

Online search says it s the tired old scam about your car accident.

Keep getting calls from this number surely can't be important as never leaves a message

Don't know know who it is but have just been called by this number myself

Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.

Asks for a person by name and then hangs up.
