Purported to be from Carphone Warehouse trying to do a good deal. I've had this type of call from other numbers so don't believe it's real. Told her I'd just taken out a new contract. She was polite enough and said goodbye.
For the last 3 to 4 weeks, this number repeatedly calls during the day and leaves no message when unanswered. As I work nights, this generally wakes me but they don't stay on the call long enough for me to answer. I do not know anyone in the Pontypridd area and am not expecting any calls.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up.
