SCAM Claimed to be from Amazon regarding the renewal of our Amazon Prime subscription. Advised to "press 1 to cancel". Suspect this was fishing for our bank account number details. The call was soon followed by another from '01420 226 637'. The 'bot' hung-up when I answered, but did not say anything.

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.

PPI insurance call from PPI call centre... super annoying, I found them very persistent
I believe this number is being used by scam callers. I received a text inviting me to call back, purporting to be from HSBC about a potential fraudulent payment. I would suggest that any recipient ignores any calls or texts from this number. Since it is a premium number any return calls will be outside normal free call packages. HSBC always use free call numbers if they request someone to call back.
Got a call from this number pre-recorded message said that he was from social security administration and they are showing that something was going on with my social security number press 1 if I wanted to speak with someone about the activity l hung up and blocked got this same call last week from a different number

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Amanda from Safety Guide asking for one of our colleagues by his first name only. I asked what it was regarding & she claimed that he agreed in March to sponsor some books for local schools. I checked with the colleague in question & he confirmed that he hadn t agreed.
