Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.
Text message from PayPal saying my account is blocked and to click a link. I went onto the PayPal app separately and there is nothing wrong with my account. I reckon this is a SCAM.

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. Lady with Far Eastern accent informed me she was calling from Sky Technical about my broadband. I told her I didn't have Sky broadband and she then said she represented all the other ISP's, Talk Talk Vodafone etc. I then ended the call. Beware!
