A cheerful sounding bloke says "This is you're local energy supplier, how are you this morning?" or words to that effect. Had the exact same call at my Mum's the other day, put the phone down in either case, as our real energy suppliers actually have names!

Apparently it's "housing disrepairs" I have blocked around 20 of their phone numbers yet they still keep harassing me. They are nothing but scammers.

I had placed an ad on gumtree selling a pram . The above person txt me from ?+44 141 280 7229? and ?+44 114 359 9246? saying they wanted to buy the pram and for me to email them on [email?protected] I did then they said they had cancer and that would be sending an agent for the pram once they had paid me via PayPal. I got suspicious and then found out this is a scam

Wants to talk about foreign currency payments, have asked them many times to stop ringing us and that we are registered with CTPS but they still keep calling.

Call center for Learning Curve . They have your number if you have ever searched or done the starting process for one of the 'free Level 2 courses' with government funding. The company are legit BUT beware the 'free' government funding claim - it is funded, but, from your adult learning grant which is means tested, they need all your income details etc and a £125 fee if you do not complete the course.

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

Do not give them your DOB or any other details, apparently it may be a scammer watch out. SCAM Threatens you that you are gonna be prosecuted for tax fraud. Obviously untrue considering the fact that it is almost impossible to talk to someone at HM Revenues &Customs who has some responsability and knows about taxes and rules, so why should they send you someone to prosecute you for sonething they don't even understand themselves.

I took this call for my employer his lordship, the caller did not leave their details so did not pass on the callers request they asked whom I was told them I was his Lordships butler and the caller just kept saying the same word over sounded like oh or why could not make out the callers voice I was told to just hang up to which I did, I would advise anyone to do the same action.

Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP.
