Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. SCAM 0141729 8573 After initial silence, caller said his name was John and he was my local energy adviser in my area. I asked where he had got my number from as mine was X-Directory and he shouldn’t have it. As I was asking him to delete it he kept forcibly talking over me. I hung him. Blocked his number with BT. Do not give anyone on this number any information.
Just had a call from these people saying I may be due compensation for PPI mis-selling. A) I m not B) If I were, I know that I can apply for it for free, instead of them taking a huge cut of it. So I just kept him hanging on with "I ll be with you in just a second" until he gave up :-)
