I phoned this number back and it said THIS NUMBER IS UNRECOGNIZED so now I know. When I answered this number previously it was an Asian man with bad English from a lifestyle company doing surveys. I ve been a victim of fraud in the past so never do over the phone surveys especially from an Asian man with bad English. Also be careful when you phone someone afterwards as they are always still on the phone line.

Having received several calls on my works phone no. I finally decided to answer one. Sarah from ??? Pension Helpline (didn t catch the actual name), wanting to tell me about the pension freedom changes that came into force from April 2015. She soon lost interest when I told her that I d been in my current employer s pension scheme for 36+ years & I didn t have any other pension funds I could access. I m guessing she was wanting to help free up any pension pots for an extortionate fee!!

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

TAXES / HMRC I just had an automated call from this number where the voice tried to scare you that you are investigated on tax and you will be arrested shortly if you don't speak with the HMRC officer (which they offered to connect with after pressing one).

I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily.
