He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Didn't pick up as an unknown number and our landline is ex-directory known only to 2 other people as it is used only for elderly relatives to call who do not have mobile phones. The fact that this number is not listed anywhere and we do not use it ourselves would tend to indicate it is a spam or pfishing call.

SCAMwas phoned by this number at 1.17 pm today. it was a recorded message stating that my Amazon Prime account was about to --at this point i hung up. I rang the number, it was a gentleman who hadn't a clue what was going on and clearly, his number appears to have been taken over without his knowledge. He thanks me saying he will contact his phone provider to sort it out.
