Phoned this number back and got a recorded message from a company called FRESH CONTACTS. Checked that name out and they sell business leads. Hope this info is of use to someone.

I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. Telemarketer on behalf of Greenpeace to sign people up for membership. They had my details from petitions of theirs that I’ve signed.
I have 3 charges of 35pence on my phone Bill I know I didn’t ring this number. It’s an old bill so I don’t know what kind of call it was.
Just rung me 25th Sept. I let it ring off then did re-dial like I do all calls.

Called back and was kept on hold for over 5 minutes - hung up.
SCAM automated call! This number called - I didn't answer as I didn't recognise it. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. Possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but sadly some people will panic and do as they're told!
