I’m an Amazon shopper but lately I’ve received ‘texts’ with ‘offers’. They all have a link which will obviously be ones downfall if they click on it.

Scammer trying to get access to computer.

Recorded message claiming to be Amazon, prime account going to auto renew at £39.99, press 1 to speak to a manager
nMy son answered and hunk up instead of pressing 1 thankfull...

They told me I had contributed to a pension many years ago.....ummm....a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I thought.....No such thing. I have only one pension......no long...

This number rang our landline and asked for my husband by his first name only. Once speaking to him the male caller (African type accent) claimed to be from Sky and started asking questions - my husband's surname, security password, mother's maiden name etc. Unfortunately for him, my husband was not the easy touch he was obviously expected to be and the caller got no information out of him!

First call of 2 in half an hour from the same person at the same company, asking about the accident I d supposedly been in. Second call was from another number. They re ignoring the TPS.

I phoned the number back& it was answered by a female with a Liverpudlian accent, who repeatedly mumbled the company name,but I eventually got it out of her.
