This is a scam from the HRMC I suspect. Called saying that tax fraud has been raised under my name and to press 1. Very bad line, sounded like they were located in India. Became irate and unprofessional when I refused to give name.

Despite being registered with the TPS getting repeated calls from this number, finally pressed option 2 to try and speak to then to get the number removed was promptly laughed at and hung up on when I asked then to stop calling! Absolutely furious !!!!

As other victims have reported sometimes they put the phone down when you answer, sometimes they ask for you by name and when you answer put the phone down. Why???? what is the point? Finally once when I called them back I got to speak to a supervisor called Stuart who has promised to stop the calls - we ll see......

They called me a couple of times saying, we got information that you have outstanding depts, is that correct? I said no, and the first couple of times, they apologised, but today, just a couple of minutes ago, the guy that I was just speaking to was just a complete A hole, he bloody hung up on me without any explanation. I Got the call twice from this number to my mobile phone within a week. First time its disconnected as soon as I picked the call.
