This number claimed to be from Visa fraud department - definitely a scam!
A Manchester number, so thought is was someone I know. However it was an unpleasant person who identified themselves as being from a company called Motor Investigations. He wanted to talk about insurance. I asked him why he was calling and he was aggressive. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.

This is a scam number, and probably all numbers 023821464**. Asian sounding voice said he was from "Amazon Fraud Department" and that my account had been compromised (I don't have an Amazon account). this number called to inform me by recorded message that my internet was about to be disconnected and was asked to press one of 2 digits on my phone keypad where I would be directed to discuss my options. I consider this is a scam which would then connect me to a premium phoneline. it is now blocked by my call protect and I advise anyone receiving a call from this or similar numbers with the same dialling code not to press any digit on their phone but hang up and block the number
