SCAM Received a text message from +447521011064 (supposedly Track-&-Track) stating, "You have been in contact with someone who has been contagious. You have to get your testkit now at: https://pcr.test.status-33.com". Obviously, this is a scam, as the NHS Test and Trace contact tracing service has now closed!
A company called Motor Investigations telephoned me at 5.58pm on 6th Oct 2016. Supposedly calling regarding a claim in the past 12 months. (I ve not made a claim in the last 12 years!!). Told him I had not made a claim. The man then said that maybe my vehicle had been damaged by a third party possibly in a car park by someone banging their car door into my parked vehicle. Scam call asking for details of my lawyer, for tax default. Claimed to have written to me and wanted details from me. I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. Person on the phone did not speak very good English as was definitely not from the HMRC.

Annoyingly you have to answer the phone to add it to your BT black list so i only answered and hung up straight away. i dont know why they bother and i hope they rot it hell.

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.
