SCAM Recorded female voice stating that some account belonging to me (didn't catch what she said) had sent £600 overseas and this was a check to see if I had sent it. Press 1 for Yes it was me and 2 for no it wasn't. As it was clearly a scam, I did neither ! Strange that the search shows the number as being from Rothesay - which I'd always regarded as a prestigious place !!!

A message saying there has been a problem with my visa application. The only problem is that I haven't made an application. Scam?

Caller insolently asked me 'How are you today', before telling me I was registered with a paying Amazon service and asking me if I wanted to cancel it!

SCAM I don't know anyone from that part of the UK. I hadn't picked up the phone. Probably a call from strangers hoping that I'll return the call, which will have a huge fee, that goes directly to their bank account.

This a number scammers give you to call for bank fraud. It's a call to another scammer who will then proceed to try to rob you by getting you to buy gift cards for them, they will "open a secure account" fur you and get you to transfer big money into it, or send cash wrapped in foil to some random address to "secure your bank" there's no one you can report this to as its a spoofed number. This is a some sort of prank number. They do not speak then drop the call. Please arrest them and bring them to the nearest police station for questioning.

Although this is a local area code, the automated message upon picking up the phone said…’Dear Customer, your Amazon Prime membership has expired and you have been charged £95…’ I hung up the phone before listening to the rest of the message! A scammer just called me with an automated voice saying that I bought an iphone from Amazon and if I want to put a stop to this purchase to press 1, I pressed 1 and went through to a weirdo breathing on the phone I asked him to remove my number from their list and he said 'no because you are really cute', I said I will report this number to the police and he said he will report my number to the police because 'you called me'. A total weirdo who is not only a scammer but really rude too.

01182-308128 -308140 -302112 are all scams. Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls searching for voice lines. If you answer "hello" or "anything else", the line will be logged as a 'VOICE LINE' and you'll get called back later by a con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line then goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scamme
