Recieved a call from this number sounded like a call centre, I am in Australia, knew my name would not tell me how she was and were she was from, wanted me to confirm my name I just not me when she asked if I was XXXX, then she hung up.
SCAM - This number sent me a text message claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, saying that I'd set up a new payment to Mrs H Benson, and if it wasn't me to go to https://cancel-online-newpayee.com, so I forwarded it to 7726 to report it as spam. Maybe you should too!

Asian/Indian scam caller about cover for sky box. when asked why he was calling ex-directory and TPS registered number he became abusive and rang off. geo-location puts him in middle of Trafalgar Square although he claims he is in Scotland! this is same guy who rang in mid December but then he was using 02037 694278. treat number as dangerous and report it to Ofcom, TPS and ICO

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Red Hawk Insurance on 01792735123. I missed call and 2nd one answered abour outstanding PPI from Welsh sounding male. Told him I was not interested and he asked if I had any outstanding PPI, which I informed him that my personal details were none of his business. He then informed me there would be another call if I did not answer his questions, of which I informed him that this would be considered harassment. Welsh male then said that sound like a horrible person. I thanked him.

Barclaycard Fraud prevention. Its an automated line (At least it was for me) Their system will ask you to confirm your name, as well as your date of birth. Then it will list some recent transactions that their system has flagged as possibly fraudulent. All you then need to do is press 1 to confirm the transactions as your own/authorised by you, or 2 to decline. For me i just had to press 1. For others it may be a matter of pressing 2 and then you may actually have to talk to someone. I cant say for sure.

Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.
