This number has been calling my landline approx. 7-8 times a day for the past 5 days. I always check 0844 numbers before I answer, so I have been ignoring this once I saw the negative comments left on this site. How can I stop them calling altogether?
Left long message on answering mach. Serious law suit against me unless I rang. Robotic voice, Americanized pronunciation & legal phrases. Did not specify name of myself or partner. Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Called from this number -- long pause before a woman (don t think it was automated because there was background noise) said something about Motor Satisfaction Surveys Opt Out that I d apparently contacted them about (which I haven t) and told me to ring some number which she read out so fast I couldn t catch it. She then immediately hung up. Totally bizarre.

We got a call from this number at 2.20am which woke us up with a fright. Recorded message saying ‘Can you hear me?’ And no response when sleepily replied. Really annoying - couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards for hours. No idea what the purpose of it was.
