SCAM called me in Aus saying they were taxation office.

Scam scam scam. Computer voice said it was from HMRC and I need to press 1 to pay some money regarding a fraud in my name. If I don't then I would have the police coming round for my arrest. Was very laughable because it had no details about me. Just hang up people.

Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. Claimed to be from the Fraud dept of Visa Debit but did not say which bank had issued the card. She asked for no security checks. Spoke about unauthorised transaction. A recorded message threatening to cancel my national insurance number due to it being used in connection with “illegal activities”, and demanding that I press 1 to be connected to “an officer” to avoid being arrested. I ignored it, but the call could be very worrying to some people.

Just had a call from this number no one talked on the other end phoned back and it was a recorded message saying the number is from a outside the UK company spoofing there number and we should report this matter to ofcom

If you have free calls (eg free weekend and evening calls through BT) then phone them back (with 141 prefix) and tell them to check the TPS website before calling anyone. If they ask for your postcode, refuse to tell them. Also refuse to give your number, or any other information about yourself. Simply state over and over again that they are required to consult the TPS website before calling any number. If they talk over you just keep saying "Dont t talk over me, listen to me" until they stop, then tell

Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.

Been getting calls from this number for quite a while and these creeps just don t give up! As per the comment they made on the 8th Dec 2016 to "hannah" makes me think how many friends do they really want to make. A super bunch of creeps which I would and would suggest you all to stay clear off as well
