I was asked to call the number for a validity check. Number rings and then when answered goes quiet. My number is withheld, so that s why they will not talk. SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.

supposedly an insurance firm!! I have just reported them to the TPS as I have had a preference service on m line since 2006! this is the 3rd call they have made so as far as I m concerned its aggressive cold calling, if they were a decent company they would have done proper research and wouldn t be making calls to a line with a preference service on it.
Says he is calling from justrunout.co.uk in Luton but his number is from Basildon and their only office is in Billericay. Completely fake.
