Just had a call from this number - 01252540329 - no sound then I said Hello and heard the click as it was sent to call centre - The operator (with a foreign accent) said Hello twice, I didn't reply and they hung up. Car accident insurance scam. Very persistent. Told to get lost and not call again. Took exception to this and Kept ringing back until I disconnected the phone.
SCAM On answering got a pre-record of serious sounding older man stating there was an issue with my national insurance number and fraudulent activity and to press 1 for help (likely to a premium rate number) and to then sure to go and ask me to share my personal details. Definitely a scam.

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!
