DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!

Appears to be a phishing call. I answered and an automated voice just said "goodbye" and the call ended. This typically is an attempt to have you call the number back for any number of reasons, typically non of which are good.

So say called from hmrc. Put the phone down and cut the call .

May be a scammer requesting banking info - posing as a link to hmrc website for energy bill support.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. SCAM - the caller introduced herself as a representative of EE Promotional team offering new package deals. I've just spoken to EE at 150 number, they confirmed that they don't have promotions department and this is definitely a Scam.

SCAM Called by 01323734918 today saying they are EE and if I give my details he can set me up a new account with 45% discount. Blatant scam and indian call centre.

Scam caller do not know Number so let answer machine take call hung up as soon as machne clicked in if t was a gen caller they would leave message.
