Had a call this morning ,luckily decided to see if any info on the number being a scam ( knowing I owe no money to HMRC to be sued for ) thank goodness I did , now assured by this site that it definitely is a scam and will delete the message immediately !

This number called & said they were a bank & they had noticed 2 large amounts had been taken out of my account & to press 1 to speak to someone. I just put the phone down
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, phishing for bank account details). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437242xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs f

Said only four ppl should have my accident details, rated my Insurance company as excellent without knowing who they are. when told I work for a transport company and we have our own solicitors, he tried to discredit them! Very persistant, had to end the call myself after telling him he was going to get nowhere!
