After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Got a call on line 1 from the scammer (Asian male) who announce that my computer had problems!!! He was told in no uncertain terms to do something rather harmful to himself. I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Called my mobile 6 times yesterday and I answered it today and I had an Indian gentleman asked me something and I had to get him to repeat himself and I think it was a survey I blocked the number and have now been called by another number but no-one there
