SCAM Claiming to be paypal and sending me a link to resolve an account limitation
Wanted to speak with person living with me, who has got covid. English speaking voice.
The call was disconnected as soon as it was answered.
SCAM / SPAM Scam claiming to be from Ofcom saying that my phone line has been hacked. The menu says press 1 for BT, but we're with Virgin anyway! Checked with Virgin and it's a scam number.

Ringing about my non-fault accident. She did mention a company name but I forgot it. When I asked how she got my number and that her calling me is now illegal she hung up.
SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. Worrying.

Apparently it s the HMRC and I m involved in a tax fraud case.
I ve just been called by this number, when I picked up the call, there was no sound, no answer, so I ended the call, then got a withheld number calling literally a minute later, which went to voicemail (the message was unintelligable). Then a minute later I got an SMS to my mobile from 08447362490 asking them to call back on that number. Searching that number indicates it s from Link Financial Outsourcing, a debt collection company.

Allegedly from Microsoft saying your computer has been hacked. Will ask you you to turn it on and follow a series of instructions assuring you that they will not access any information or take control of it. Of course they won't and pigs might fly.....

02033501850 Claims to be "Accenture Technology Management Services" - They claim to be part of Accenture and are based in the USA. They are giving the impression they are computer technicians...be aware they are scammers, they use various identity.
Male caller, hard to understand talking about 'Technical Division' and 'Your Account' or similar. I terminated the call. He called again within a minute. Said similar. I asked him not to call again.

Had call from this no and went to VM. Listened back to my voicemail and sounds like a call centre, a male is talking in a different language for 2 mins until he realises he has left me the voice message then hangs up. Be interesteing to hear what hes been saying....
This is a group of scammers pretending to be a web company. Would you trust people who (A) are registered abroad but setup a UK number to get your money and (B) cold call as they clearly haven t got a service anyone would want to purchase by any other means. Use your brain ... BLOCK them!
