TAXES / HMRC, automated voice saying I'm being investigated for tax evasion
bank scam call
This was an automated voice saying they were Amazon and I had been charged £95 for their Prime service - press one if I wanted to speak with someone or 2 if.... I had the same call from a different number the previous day and from a withheld number earlier this afternoon. This is obviously a scam of some sort.

This number should be marked DANGEROUS. It is a man replying to adverts on Internet and advertising "rent for sex" scam targeting vulnerable young women. Do NOT engage with this man.

SCAM Automated voice purporting to be Amazon stating prime membership has lapsed and requires to be renewed. My Prime membership is fine and I doubt that Amazon would be calling about it, especially from a local Dundee number!
Call center said he was Virgin Media. Indian with a very strong accent. Something about our router box accessing the mother server. That's when I hung up.

This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.

This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.

Not sure what this was about. I answered and it went silent then someone said hello, knew my email address. Something about a transfer payment being stuck and verifying my data in regards to ID fraud. I had an echo on the line, couldn't hear properly. Caller had strong accent, possibly French. SCAM Indian woman pretending to be BT saying that there were multiple unknown IP addresses connected to our internet. Tried to get me to go into the terminal of my computer and started inserting ridiculous stuff. As soon as I asked BT to email me officially and we take it from there, she went silent and hung up.
It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,
