I block all silent call numbers, if they are genuine, they will leave a message telling you who they are, why they called.

Have received 3 calls this week from other numbers starting 0161 to my mobile, and nw this one. They all only rang a couple of times, not long enough to look at the number and decide if I was going to answer or not, before the caller hung up. Having read the comments, I have now blocked both numbers.

I asked her where this accident allegedly took place and she said 'in Glasgow' and I asked when it had taken place and she said 'last month' and I said that this was a phishing call. Last week I bought a BT BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone and it works a treat. I am not connected with BT in any way but I can highly recommend this phone. It will keep a log of the calls it blocks and this number called me today but the phone blocked it and it didn t ring. Peace at last!!
