Rings once when you answer, female voice then states they are calling about an accident I was in. I ask them where they got my number from and they hang up. They keep calling, but the last few numbers sometimes change. I'm registered with the TPS and yet still get them. I think Parabis sold my details.

An American man saying my name and that I registered for something yesterday. Company name was fast and vague but I think he said something like sd and said to confirm my email address. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
