Rubbish about an accident
Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.

02392 910896 number called saying he (indian sounding - and partially broken english) was from Sky (my ISP) asking if I noticed flucktuating BB speeds. I said no, and he went on to tell me why they were. Argued that they wern't. I asked him if he knew that I was suffering from slower internet speeds from what I was paying, then (as he was from Sky) he should be able to tell me what internet speeds I should be getting. This number called me twelve times on the same day.
A scam. Rang before 8.30am this morning, Automated message about switching off your broadband due to illegal/illicit use. Caught me off guard as I am waiting for messages from hospital about a seriously ill relative. These people are scum.

Melissa called twice saying that they needed to check the insulation in our loft because we had it done under the government scheme (we didn't) and now the regs had changed and it needs to be checked.When I told her that I'd done it myself about 35 years ago and wasn't going to have anything else done, she said she'd alter the information on the database. Sounded like a genuine company though unfortunately I didn't get their name so can't report them for a cold call as I would usually.
