Random fund raising company, as I haven't given my details out this is a bit fishy!

Based on previous comments, highly likely to be a telemarketer or scam. Attempting to call back gives a warning about it being a non-UK number with increased call costs.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Called me and left no message. Called them twice, within 40 minutes of their call. Both my callbacks failed (no one answers). And my phone history says: 'Cancelled Call'!

They are an OK company, bought stuff from them, but they call every other week with offers. Put their number in your phone contacts list so you know to reject the call. Their printer deals are excellent.

its a rent SCAM to get you to call premium numbers. you call a normal mobile no and he tells you to call his girlfriend, then says you got the number wrong, bla bla bla. SCAM
