Suspect a company called EMS asking if I've had an accident. Dial the number back you hear a call centre in the background.

call from this number today. Got about 2 minutes of silence, then they hung up.

Called saying I had been in an accident....whilst I was at work. Would love to know how they got my number. Tried to call back to find out company name and it says it s an invalid number.

caller said it was a legal firm - I asked how they got my name & number - some gobbledegook about random calling software - that doesn t explain linking a name to a number - someone has sold my personal data again!

They have called twice now. Would not identify themselves.

This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!
