Asian woman said she was with Telephone Preference Service and wanted the expiry date of my bank card. Said I never gave TPS any bank details so why is she asking for them. Said she didn't want my bank details and not understandin what she was saying and asked again for my expiry date. Ended up shouting down the phone if she phones me again police will be involved did SHE understand THAT?!!
Fraud
Apparent unsolicited mortgage marketing call. They identified themselves as "Mortgage Review". Refused to answer my questions about who they were and what they wanted and why they had called, insisting I should identify myself first. They then tried to get me to put my wife on the line, becoming more and more irate. I would expect legitimate callers to identify themselves and their business before demanding information.

How lucky to receive a call from Microsoft alerting me to the imminent failure of my computer and broadband caused by hackers. Sadly the line to Manchester (Asia) was not too good and I had to be transferred to Alex in Reading (Asia), a senior supervisor.
