I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! SPAM Called me 8 times today between 11:35am and 1:03pm. The first 2 times disturbing my child who u was trying to get to nap. I eventually answered the call and they said something about financial services ltd Number blocked If it's important leave a voicemail, and not just a voicemail where all I can hear is you breathing!

Number called my phone not sure how anyone has my mob number as its not listed . Didnt pick up but came up on my phone as 5 sapphires ni idea what that is but number from london (blocked).

Suspected scam. I had a call from 07932918018 this morning. A recorded message said I had unusual transactions on my bank account. I was than put through to an "operative" who asked for my name and date of birth. I hung up at this point and will check with my bank.

Scam. Definitely. So-called call from "security department". I asked 'security department' of what? The woman (Asian voice - lots of background "office" noise) repeated, 'This is the Security Department!' to which I repeated "Of what?!" She hung up. Point made. Case closed. Catch the bastards!

I believe i am being blackmailed by the owner of this number.

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

I am getting daily calls all from 0161 (Manchester) numbers, all scam calls. Each day ends in a different number after 0161 820 ----

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!
