Said she was calling from BT open reach about my internet being hacked. Said she would not ask for any personal or bank details. Asked if I had given my internet password to anyone outside my house. I kept asking her for her details but she then asked me if I had a mobile phone. I knew she was scamming and asked her to shut up for one moment and she then said and you shut up two and then she hung up. This would have been dangerous if I had let her download any app or software to my phone

SCAM Over the last week I have had calls from this company who purports to be from Amazon stating that a certain amount of money will be taken and press 1 to cancel and 2 to speak to an operator - do not do either HANG UP - Checked with both Amazon and bank they would not leave message like this. Also for reference they also use 0204 520 3908/0204 5203909 and 0208 194 2753. The scripts are slightly different stating that £00 will be taken for Amazon and £1100 bank transfer. Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! LoL When he noticed he did not get anywhere with me, he abruptly hung up. Quite a rude chap if he really intended quality and customer satisfaction. My guess: part of the ongoing scams on Internet
This number sounds like a scam. Phone message left by well spoken woman about £300 Amazon charge and £1100 international money transfer against our account. Press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to their support team. No mention of which bank or card.
SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.
Tclaimed to be paypal, all seemed fine untill he asked too many personal questions and then asked for the 3 digits from the back of my card, at which point the alarm bells went off. I cancelled the call

They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.
As with the previous review, received a text supposed to be from Apple telling me my wallet features have been put on hold, due to an unusual transaction, and to visit the link in the text message. Needless to say I have not got an Apple wallet and did not click the link. I assume it's a scam.

Person claimed to be a SG citizen born but raised in Liverpool UK and works for ExxonMobil. So not sure if this is a scammer.
