It s too long to be a valid UK number. Iffy number usually means iffy reason for calling.

Forever calling my 11yo sons mobile, this being a new mobile contract. Clearly cold calling and continue to harrass us, idiots! From now on I answer, appearing to be my local Police Authority. I ve done this with others and they promptly hangup and I never receive a call from them again. As for the TPS, complete waste of time. I and many others had an increase of calls once added, even on a completely new line where nobody had the number as it was used as a broadband only line by us.

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database. This number appears to be from 2Touch, a direct marketing company. In my case they were calling on behalf of EDF Energy in response to a complaint, so it was a legitimate call.
