SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. SCAM. Allegedly from HER Majesty's Revenue and Customs. 1st clue - HER Majesty has been dead for 10 months. 2nd clue The recorded message was made with an American accent. Doubt very much that HRMC have sub-contracted this to the Americans (yet).

Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

Obvious scam, claiming to be from EE retaining department. If you google the number it comes up as a Noodle bar in London. The guy on the call couldn't stop stumbling over his words when I called him out on things and then laughed at me when I said I knew it was a scam.

Can't prove it but seems sketchy. I don't even live in the UK and don't business or anything. Not a single reason for someone from the UK to call me.

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

SCAM Call from an automated voice saying they were from 'Bank Security' or some such nonsense, listing a couple of suspicious payments supposedly made from my bank account. I was directed to press a key to talk to someone but I hung up.

Scam text with a fake survey from broadband supplier. Block the number.

Message on my answerphone to say a money transfer had been made from my card (did not say which) in excess of £1000 which was unusual. Same message, and same voice, as made to my phone from 01491576783 yesterday so looks like a scam gang doing the rounds. Watch out.

Pretending to call from my bank about fraudulent transactions on my account, those transactions were taking from my account, someone had access to my card number, didn't ask me any security questions, just telling me my account issues, and didn't sound professional, was an English man, I hung up and phoned my real bank instead.Fraud

Seems to be scam for sure. After they dialled I’ve had my number spoofed.

I received this phone call at 6-02 on the 16/06/22. This was the second one I had in the last couple of days saying they had a delivery for me from the Range. The asked was I Lorna Davies and was she my granddaughter. How did they know how old I was??
