knew my name, asked for my postcode. He was very over-friendly. When I asked who he was he hung up.
Called several times telling me I had an SMS message even though I haven’t told anybody this landline number as I had only recently brought this phone (though people barely use landline nowadays). Probably best not to pick up this number.
If you get a call from this number, do not press any of the options (not even '3', which is to delete the call, supposedly), as this confirms your number as a private address (think about the time of day that these calls are usually received), and it will be sold on as such, to everyone else who makes marketing and scam calls.
Claimed they were doing research on behalf of Department of Justice. UK has Ministry of Justice - Dept of Justice is American. You'd think they would get their story right. Lol
