They called me and knew my name and address. Wanted to confirm this was me saying they wanted to send me a former for a tax over payment. They said they were HMRC and as they already had my detail and even pronounced my name right which surveys calls never do, I said send me the firm. Still not arrived. If HMRC it would come quickly and in their official brown envelop. Sceptical.

Automated call. Suspect fraud. Supposedly from Amazon re a mobile phone order for £599. Seems to be associated with a sales group trying to sell an iPhone 6S for a high price!

We have been called from this number by somebody claiming to be from British Gas, about an outstanding invoice. As out invoices are regularly paid on time, this is a scam to try and get card details for payment.

Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. SCAM said they were solicitors, but would put a file through to solicitors for me regarding the ‘accident that was not my fault, so that I would get compensation for personal injury of £3500’! Kept the lady talking, established they were given my number by another company, National incidents? Hung up when I confirmed no accident had occurred!!! How rude!
