This number called my son yesterday and today; he's only 18 and new to all this so yesterday he brought the phone down to me to talk to them. As soon as I said "Can I help you" they hung up. Before that, they said they were O2, asked how he was, then asked if he was over 18 and in the UK. Now if they genuinely were O2, they would surely have the answers to those questions already. I am contacted by this company three times a day and have tried every possible method to deter their calls but they are relentless. They try to get you to confirm your details and then pretend to know the expiry date on your credit card (year only) in an attempt to obtain your card details. Utterly dishonest scam from Indian call centre.
Automated call from 01778 346650. On answering, a message started about an order for an iPad from Amazon. Wanted me to press a number to continue & another for something else. I hung up. Later the same day, a call was received from 01302 326248, which was for the same thing.
