Called stating that two charges had been made on my credit card 1 to amazon for £300 pounds and another to a overseas number for £1500 and if I pressed 1 I could cancel the payments. Must be a scam, beware
We were awaiting a phone call from our GP. This number rang and when we called back it said there would be a charge to connect if we dialled 3. The number was dead!!! We can only hope we have not been charged.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing.
