Never call unknown numbers back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number masked by a spoofed number which could be a very expensive call.

If it's an unsaved number and I don't have anyone in that area I block it

Had this number, 01619390228 call me a few times recently, they don t let the phone ring very long, have never left a voice message and on trying to call the number I get an engaged tone, will try to get to my phone quicker next time to answer, reckon it s a scam call, shouldn t be allowed !! My telephone number shouldn t be given out by any anyone except me !!

Asked for someone by name who doesn't live here. Weirdly, the name had same initials as me? They then said they'd remove my number from their mailing list...

I've had 4 calls from this number today. The fourth time I answered the call and could hear it was a call centre. The guy asked for me by name and then put the phone down...

Very aggressive and rude. They will say that they are calling regarding "Your car accident" for which they have no details. They will call everyone including people who never had a car. When I asked them to spell their company name, they but when I also asked to give me their company registration number, they told me to "F... off" and put the phone down. I Believe this to be sky television, or someone who is trying to sell you a cheaper TV package, the accent sounded like India or Pakistan, the dialing code is Bedford UK.

Same as other people....very insistent about my driving accident, continued even after I said I didn t even drive, so I hung up. On a holiday Monday afternoon. Total saddo!

Keeps ringing and either aborts call before I can answer. Hangs up as soon as I answer or plays a recording re PPI. Have had around 10 calls so far.

This number called 02 Aug 21 using the same recorded scam message as that from Tel 01482384599 (received 23 Jul 21) to inform of fraudulent/suspicious card activity....
