I texted back to say they d got a wrong number but apparently their number doesn t recieve text messages, although it does seem to be able to send them! They called me back in May offering an extra 3 GB of data for free but then my contact was reduced from 6GB to 4GB AND my bill went up £10. I did call Vodafone to sort it and they were very helpful and even refunded me. They called again today offering a free phone upgrade. Really scary how they can do this.
They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.
