cold call about possible reclaiming of interest/insurance paid on credit card - asked how they got my number as hadn t had card for years - said it was possibly if i had barclays, mbna or capital one credit card, if i had paid the minimum amount and interest gathered then credit card company were automatically adding insurance to fee from 2000-2009 incorrectly and it could be claimed back. Answered this thinking it was a local call. Chap actually calling from Wales and was regarding something to do with the bank - PPI I think. Forgot to note down the company as was so annoyed it was a cold call!!
